I can't thank Marcus enough for the excellent work he has done on my nine Shimano Curados and two Shimano Stradics . I had my bearings replaced with ceramic bearings and drags with smooth drags. I use my reels for salmon and steelhead fishing, so they get a good work out casting and pulling those big guys in. That's where ceramic bearings come in; you can cast farther with less weight and less fatigue on you. You can use lighter line with smooth drags because of the lack of surging on your line when it gets pulled out. SMOOTH DRAGS LIVE UP TO THEIR NAME!
